HANNAH GRIFFIN: Softball diamond, favorite teachers and FLIK cookies
April 27, 2017
Hannah Griffin has known the softball diamond since she was 5 years old. She is excited to continue to play softball at Gordon State, where she will join long-time teammate and close friend, Alyssa Orona, on scholarship next year.
However, Hannah also feels sad about moving away and leaving Stratford behind.
In the past two years, Stratford has become her home. Her favorite memory is when the softball team beat FPD in the Elite Eight last year and advanced to the state championship game.
Hannah’s most embarrassing moment was when she was running to the Powder Puff game, and she slipped and scraped her knee in front of the entire football team.
She will miss seeing all of her friends every day at break and at lunch. She also will also miss some of her favorite teachers and classes.
Hannah’s favorite teacher is Dr. Ann Dromsky because she always relates to her students and is understanding. She also enjoyed Mr. Bobby Stecher’s College Algebra Class.
She said she also will miss Stratford’s popular FLIK cookies.
As Hannah leaves Stratford, she looks forward to majoring in nursing at Gordon State College.
