ALLIE EDWARDS: Twins, friendships and Wake Forest-bound

Allie Edwards has not been at Stratford for as long as some of her classmates, but she has made lots of friends and developed strong relationships with her teachers in her four years here.
These teachers include Ms. Aimee Grisham, her AP Spanish teacher and homeroom advisor, and science teacher Coach Ross Bridges.
Allie has taken part in many sports and clubs during her high school career.
“I played volleyball for my first couple of years,” she said. “I also played tennis and cheered. I am president of the Beta Club. I am in Spanish Club, Pep Club, and Key Club.”
Allie will be attending Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C. Her twin brother, Jake, is headed the University of Virginia, After growing up together and attending Stratford together, Allie will have to adjust to life 165 miles away from Jake.
“I like it having a twin brother,” she said. ” It is really fun because we both just have a really big group of friends and are friends with each other’s friends. I am excited we are going to different colleges next year.”
