SAFI RAHMAN: Chewbacca, marching band and Mercer-bound

Chewbacca roar extraordinaire, Safi Rahman participated in marching band, symphonic band, and tennis during high school.

Safi has no regrets from his high school years.  His favorite subject in school is English. “It allows you to speak your thoughts on a particular work or something,” he said.

Outside of school, he enjoys reading and playing video games.

If he had a choice to shadow anyone, living or dead, Safi said he would shadow David Bowie, Kurt Cobain and George Lucas.

He will be attending Mercer University this fall. When Safi leaves for college, he said he will miss “a few people, nothing else.”
