Coming home
After seven schools in 12 years, returning to Stratford was the biggest homecoming of all.

It is homecoming week at Stratford. But my homecoming started on Aug. 16, the first day of school.
The night before classes started, I asked my friend where the senior parking lot was located.
It was my biggest concern.
My love for this school and my classmates made it easy for me to decide to return for my senior year. — Leah Davis
When I came back to Stratford this year, it felt like my freshman year all over again.
It had been more than a year since I’d seen most of my classmates, so I was almost as nervous as the incoming ninth-grade class. I couldn’t even find all my classes since so many teachers had moved around.
Regardless, I was more than happy to be back.

My love for this school and my classmates made it easy for me to decide to return for my senior year and graduate from here. During my time at Howard, I missed everyone so much, and I frequently got messages telling me that I should come back.
I was returning to something I was used to and knew almost everything about.
It was like coming home.
