Eaglettes advance in region tournament
Sophomore Mary Elaine Mitchell heads to the batter’s box for the game’s first pitch on Monday in the first round of the Region 7A tournament against Washington-Wilkes. The Eaglettes won, 4-1, to advance to a second-round match-up against Tattnall Square on Wednesday. The tournament is at GMC in Milledgeville.
