Catherine Brown

Making memories, getting involved and having fun

Catherine Brown has been at Stratford since she was in Pre-K. She has enjoyed her time at the Academy. Her favorite teacher has been science teacher Ms. Jackie Waters. Her favorite school subject is English.

She is undecided about her college choice, but has Ole Miss and Georgia College in mind.

Her biggest goal her senior year is to make lots of memories and enjoy her last months at Stratford. Her favorite thing about the senior class is how they’ve grown up together over the years and she says they all get along well.

Catherine enjoys participating in school activities such as cheerleading, cross country, and she plans on running track. She is a member of the Spanish Club, Key Club, Ecology Club and Pep Club.

She said Ecology Club is the most beneficial to join because “it helps out the environment around us and just like that people are affected by it in our community.”

Her favorite school tradition is getting hype for the FPD game. Her favorite Stratford sport to watch is football. If she could change one school rule she would  “like to be able to wear sandals or open toed shoes.” Her favorite FLIK foods are cookies, pizza and quesadillas.

Catherine’s advice to people as they go through high school is to “stay true to yourself and have fun for the most part. Don’t stress out too much about school.”
