Star Wars opening a family tradition
December 13, 2017
I know exactly where my family and I are going on Friday.
We will see the new Star Wars movie, “The Last Jedi.”
The newest Star Wars movie usually comes out during the Christmas holidays, which makes the experience even more special.
We have a tradition to get tickets either the day it comes out or the day after. It starts with us going to a restaurant, usually Mexican food. After we finish our dinner, we all get into the car and head over to the theater.
My mom always loves to sit in the middle. So when we get inside, she directs us to the middle section in the middle or top row.
Since we have just eaten dinner, we don’t get any popcorn or snacks, but we do get a drink.
After the movie is over, we rate the movie on a 1 to 5 scale and then say what our favorite part is while we’re on our way to Dairy Queen. Once we get in the drive-thru at Dairy Queen and order what we want, we then head home and wind down.
