2K14 New Year’s Resolutions

Stratford Academy is back in full swing following winter break.  With 2014 well underway, some students shared their New Year’s resolutions to make this year even better than the last.

Shannon Hill:

“My New Year’s resolution is to save money for college.”

Claudia Monfort:

“My New Year’s resolution is to walk Yeti more.”

Holly Hanse:

“My New Year’s resolution is to dance all night to the best song ever.”

Mary Cason Sherwood:

“My New Year’s resolution is to not drink any soda for a full year.”

Jeffery Evans:

“My New Year’s resolution is to be tone and fit for ‘Spring Break 2k14.'”

Andrew Wanna:

“My New Year’s resolution is to be as college as Jonathan Hefner.”

Bonnie Jarrard:

“My New Year’s resolution is to work on my vertical so that I can slam like QT.”

Mallory Maxwell:

“My New Year’s resolution is to spend more time with my family.  I really want to work to spend quality time with my loving family.”

Other students felt that 2013 was so successful that no further improvement is necessary. And some just forgot about resolutions entirely.

Andrew Stephens:

“I don’t do New Year’s resolutions.  It’s a waste of time.  Everyone that starts a New Year’s resolution ends up breaking it.”  When asked why he felt most students were not able to carry out their resolutions, Stephens’ reply was simple: “It’s because they are weak.”

Lukas Joyner:

“I forgot to make a New Year’s resolution. It’s probably because of all the concussions.”
