Ellie Minette
On the coast, there are many things Ellie Minette can do.
She can swim or pursue her dream of collecting litter on beaches.
Ellie has been a student at Stratford since the second grade. During her time at The Academy, she has been a member of the Ecology, Key, and Beta clubs and president of the Spanish and Drama clubs.
Ellie has been on the swim team ever since middle school, and has made many memories. She has enjoyed embracing the Weagle name.
Ellie also enjoyed portraying the jester in Stratford’s winter play.
“Jeffrey Hale, Gracie Childers, and I just goofed around on stage for the entire show because no one really told us not to,” she said.
Her participation in theatre has influenced her choice in a dream career.
“I would like to either be a Broadway producer or a stage manager, but realistically, I would like to travel the world and clean up litter.”
Ellie’s concern for the environment may have been influenced by her love for biology.
She hopes to attend Georgetown University.
