Caroline Durkee

Of Caroline Durkee’s 14 years at Stratford, her senior year has been her favorite.

Caroline has participated in many sports and activities in high school, including JV and Varsity cheerleading, swimming, and tennis. She has enjoyed all of them.

She said she has made many friends that she will miss after she graduates. She also will be sad to leave her two dogs, Cash and Ginger, when she leaves home.

Caroline has made many fun and embarrassing memories, but one stands out more than others.

“My most embarrassing memory from high school is probably when I was called out by the FPD student section when I was a freshman,” she said.

She does not have a favorite FLIK food, so she always looks forward to having long lunch. On these days, when she can leave school to go eat, her favorite places to go are Fountain of Juice and Jeneane’s.

Caroline is unsure of where she is going to college in the fall. She is waiting to hear back from the University of Georgia. If she does not go to UGA, she wants to attend the University of South Carolina.

After college, Caroline has big aspirations.

“I would really like to move to New York and do something with fashion, but we will see,” she said.
