The Stratford boys tennis team capped its second straight undefeated season by winning its third state title in four years with a 3-1 victory over The Paideia School in Rome.
The Eagles, coached by Ms. Jaime Kaplan, used victories by brothers Mark and Samuel Barrow at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, and a doubles victory by Thomas Brewer and Will Fackler to claim the title.
Mark Barrow, a senior, finished his accomplished career that saw him lead the Eagles to four team championships (one in the GISA) in his five years on the varsity.
