SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Hadley Neal
Hadley Neal has been a student at Stratford for 14 years.
Hadley’s favorite memory at Stratford was her fourth-period English class her sophomore year. “We had some great times with our Google docs,” she said.
Her favorite FLIK food is the mac and cheese, because it never disappoints.
Hadley’s favorite subjects are English and history because she feels she excels in them. Her favorite class this year is human relations with Mr. Griff Ethridge, who is one of her favorite teachers. Another favorite is Mr. Stephen O’Hara.
Hadley has applied to Georgia Southern, the University of Georgia, Texas Christian University, Ole Miss, and Auburn. Her top three choices are Auburn, Georgia and Ole Miss.
She wants to be a teacher or a speech pathologist. She plans on majoring in early childhood education.
She is a Girl Talk leader for sixth grade and plans all the activities and meetings. She runs cross country, is a varsity cheerleader, and she is on the tennis team. She participates in many clubs such as Ecology Club and Spanish Club.
In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends. She loves to drive because she is still pretty new at that. She likes to hang out with her boyfriend, Rob Cunningham, who goes to FPD. She attends church at Vineville United Methodist.
Her most embarrassing moment was when she went on a ski trip with her church. Her “crush” was on the trip with her and she decided to show off. She went on the ski lift and fell off while trying to get his attention. The ski patrol had to come get her.
After she graduates, Hadley said she will miss hanging out with her friends every day. She said she will miss “being able to always have a friendly face to talk to.”
