SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Molly Griffin

Although teacher Mrs. Carol Lanier once told her, “If it doesn’t matter in five years, then you probably shouldn’t worry about it for more than five minutes,” Molly Griffin has spent much longer than five minutes  looking forward to the next four years of her life at Mercer University.

Molly came to Stratford in Pre-K and has been enrolled here for 14 years. Her sister, Meg Griffin, also went to Stratford and graduated in 2016. Molly’s favorite subject is English, so it seems fitting that one of her favorite teachers is Upper School English teacher, Mrs. Michelle Fleming, along with Upper School History teacher, Mr. Stephen O’Hara.

Molly has been involved in Key Club, Pep Club, SALSA, Spanish Club, and Ecology Club. She also is a member of the Varsity tennis team, and is involved in Vineville Methodist Church’s youth group. From time to timeshe enjoys a warm FLIK chocolate chip cookie.

She will miss all of her friends and teachers at Stratford, but Molly said she is looking forward to meeting new people in college.
