I was on the beach enjoying the beautiful sunset when a thought appeared in my head. I thought, “How cool would it be to take a picture of the sunset right now?”

So, I took out my phone, looked at my surroundings, and tried to think of a different angle to snap a shot. I decided to get on my knees and take a picture at the angle of my flip flops.

Just at the right time, a biker rode across the beach and made the picture even better. Needless to say, I was fairly proud of how the picture turned out. The yellow bike gives the picture more emphasis and emotion. It is not the center of attention in the photograph, but is definitely what makes the picture pleasing to the eye. If I wasn’t in Journalism, I probably would not have thought of taking such a shot.
