Eagle Night has a necessary new look
Eagle Night 2020 will definitely be out of the ordinary.
Due to Covid-19, Stratford can’t hold the traditional Eagle Night celebration, so instead the school hosting a drive-by. It will consist of the band and all of the varsity sport team members lining the campus as cars come through, decorated to show their Eagle Pride.
Sophomore band member Mason Spiegel said he is excited to get the chance to play with his fellow band members, but wishes Eagle Night could be in The Grady.
“I am excited for Eagle Night nonetheless,” he said.
On campus, Stratford will be serving Zaxby’s meals to anyone who ordered them prior to the event.
“I look forward to Eagle Night and seeing how it is different from years past,” junior Anne Travis Evans said. “It will be different seeing everyone wearing masks.”
Parents will be able to join the booster club and get their Super Eagle gift. Another addition to Eagle Night is the ‘Star on Cars Crew’, who will put the Stratford logo on the back of vehicles.
“This new version of Eagle Night is a way for us to be together with all the protocol we are having to follow,” Mrs. Sowell said.
