The Gazebo staff interviewed Stratford head coach Mark Farriba about the Eagles’ victory in the state playoffs last week, becoming the first Bibb County school to reach the GHSA state semifinals since Westside High School in 2003.
The Eagles will play Aquinas, which has handed them two of their three losses this year, in Augusta on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Advance tickets are available in the Eagles Nest until Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Student tickets are $13 and general admission is $15.
The Pep Club is sponsoring a “Navy Out,” and Friday will be a school-wide spirit day. Students interested in riding a bus to Augusta should contact Mrs. Boswell. Other fans should contact Gina Thwaite at [email protected]. Deadline to reserve a spot is 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
