Stratford’s basketball teams begin a two-game home stand at The Grady this week.

On Tuesday, the Twiggs County Cobras will take on the Eagles and Eaglettes. The action begins at 4:30 with a junior varsity boys game. The varsity boys and girls follow at 6 and 7:30.

On Friday, the JV and varsity squads will get a visit from crosstown rival Mount de Sales. The JV girls game begins at 4 p.m., and the JV boys tip off at 5 p.m. The varsity girls are scheduled for 6:30, and the boys begin at 8.

The JV and varsity boys travel to Windsor on Saturday. Tip-off is at 3:30 and 5 p.m.

In other winter sports action, the varsity swim team has a meet against First Presbyterian Day School at 7.m. on Friday.

Also on Saturday, the boys varsity wrestling squad will participate in the Bibb County Championship meet.
