‘Squigs’ a big draw for Celebrating Art week

Justin “Squigs” Robertson is a Broadway caricature artist who has come to Stratford give people their personal caricature for Celebrating Art.

He has been recognized by the New York Times and is considered the new Al Hirschfeld, another famous artist who drew for Times.

On Tuesday, he visited art classes to speak to students about his job and becoming an artist.

“Be an observer, be a chronic observer, always just be curious and keeping an eye out,” he said.

Mr. Robertson’s art is featured on many famous websites and newspapers. It can be found on Broadway.com whenever a new show comes out and has been shown on The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times as well.
