Students can see classic ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ on big screen

The classic film, “To Kill A Mockingbird,” will be shown on Friday, March 3 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at The Grand Opera House.

The movie is based on the book by Harper Lee. It won the Pulitzer Prize for literature in 1960. The movie won three Academy Awards in 1962, including “Best Actor” for Gregory Peck in his role of Atticus Finch.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the box office or on The Grand Opera House’s website. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
