Stratford’s Academic Quiz Bowl recently competed in a regional competition held at Middle Georgia State University.

Last year, Stratford came in first place, and this year was no different.

The school’s  first team went undefeated in the preliminary round. Mr. Luke Harrington, advisor of the Quiz Bowl team, said it was one of the most exciting moments in the competition.

“Our second team lost one round in the preliminary, but they were a hair away from making the finals,” said Mr. Harrington. “So, we were really excited there for a second because we thought they were going to make the finals.”

Stratford students who participated were Tejas Athni, Nischal Bandi, Mark Barrow, Rush Patel, Om Sakhalkar, Sahan Vangala, Tripp Vaughn and Ellie Wangerin.
