Kindergarten students track down elusive Gingerbread Man
Adventure takes Mrs. Kathy Larsen’s class through six buildings with clues from nine faculty members
Students in Mrs. Kathy Larsen’s kindergarten class spent Friday searching for clues (and crumbs) from 17 elusive gingerbread men.
The adventure took them from the preschool to the lower school to the middle school, science building, library, main office and upper school.
Faculty and teachers who provided fun and clues along the way included first grade teacher Mrs. Pat Herndon, fifth grade teacher Mrs. Amanda Brown, lower school principal Mrs. Redonda Mann, middle school math teacher Mrs. Donna Ellison, upper school science teacher Mr. Luke Harrington, librarian Ms. Beth Davis, journalism teacher Mr. Ed Grisamore, registrar Ms. Marilyn Walker and upper school math teacher Mr. Griff Ethridge.
Mrs. Larsen has held the traditional gingerbread man hunt early in the school year as a way to “make this a lasting memory for my kindergarteners.”
