Chorus to sing at downtown Christmas event
The Upper School Chorus will be performing at Christmas in Downtown on Saturday, Dec. 15. This is one of Middle Georgia’s largest family Christmas festivals. It is located in Rosa Parks Square. There will be free hot chocolate, live Christmas music, snow, and Santa Claus.
The chorus, under the direction of Mrs. Monica Fenimore, will be performing on the stage at 2 p.m. They will be singing Deck the Hall With Jazz, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Blue Christmas, The Dinner Bell Carol, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, The First Noel, Ding-a-Ding-a-Ding and other holiday favorites.
“We will feature the chorus, as well as some solo performances by other talented Stratford Academy students,”Mrs. Fenimore said.
“I have never more excited to spread holiday cheer,” senior Austin Slocumb said.
The members if the Upper School Chorus are: Nora Jorgensen, Joey Gadd, Alex Hall, Austin Slocumb, Gabrielle Raider, Benjamin Jorgenson, Neely Shah, Noah Fenimore, and Maggie Fuchs
