Senior Li-An Tsai took first place in art during the Kiwanis Art and Talent Show. She received a scholarship prize.

She has gotten honorable mention for scholastic art and writing awards last year and received two Cherry Blossom Festival art awards in middle school.

Li-An began drawing around the age of 1. She has taken several art classes, including AP Art, at Stratford to help her strengthen her skills.

“I developed skills in these art classes, and it made sure I don’t forget my skills,” she said.

She said she has enjoyed being an art student of  Ms. Anastasia Fink’  these past years because she has helped her strengthen her artistic abilities.

“Ms. Fink tells me where I need improvement and her points are always accurate,” Li-An said. “She help calm me down whenever I am anxious.”

Although Li-An is unsure about majoring or minoring in art at Georgia Tech this fall, she sees herself continuing art as a hobby.
