Chinese culture, language celebrated at fair
Wesleyan’s Confucius Institute will celebrate the Chinese culture and language in an all-day, fair-like event on Saturday, September 28, from 1 pm to 4 pm. It’s free and open to the public.
“You will experience many kinds of Chinese cultural activities, such as calligraphy, Chinese tea, and Mahjong,” Stratford Mandarin teacher Ms. Helen Lin said. “Best of all, you can dance with us to the Chinese music and enjoy many kinds of authentic Chinese food.”
Food will be served at 1 p.m., and the opening performance begins at 2 p.m. at Wesleyan College.
