Juniors roll up their sleeves, then have afternoon of fun
Juniors split up to take on various service projects around Macon. The different groups were at Macon Little Theatre, Wal-mart (for the food bank), the Backpack Ministry at Forest Hills United Methodist, and at Stratford.
Students assigned to Macon Little Theatre decorated for Christmas and helped clean up backstage. Junior who went to Wal-mart collected donations for the food bank. The students who they did not need at Walmart went to Stratford and did community service around the school.
At the Backpack Ministry, students packed bags for kids and stocked the supply of food. After the community service in the morning, the students could enjoy lunch where they wanted.
Students then went to the Armory Ballroom for different group activities such as trivia, baking, dancing, crafts, chess, a downtown scavenger hunt, and card games.
