On Wednesday January 29, Stratford will be holding a school-wide event to recognize 60 years of excellence.

A photo will be taken on the soccer field with all Stratford students and faculty aligned in the formation of the number 60.

The drone taken image will portray students and faculty in white shirts. Stratford has done a picture like this for the 50-year anniversary of Stratford, but this picture has a couple changes.

Instead of the soccer field, the 50 year photo was taken on the football field 10 years ago in honor of Stratford’s 50th birthday.

Students also wore white in that photo, and the plan was to change it t0 navy this year but it was determined the quality of the photo would be better in white.

“It will be a spirit day for everyone,” said Mrs. Elizabeth Avant, the school’s director of marketing and communications.

Birthday cake will be served during the day in the cafeteria.
