Student volunteers ‘clean up their act’ at Macon Little Theatre
More than a dozen Stratford students took their bows — in the form of community service — at Macon Little Theatre this past Saturday.
The theatre, which has been closed since March because of the pandemic, is expected to re-open this fall.
Students cut obstructing tree branches and logs, dug out unwanted trees, clipped uneven leaves, removed weeds, and big branches, swept the parking lot and sidewalks, and moved out two old fridges.
There was lots of heavy lifting involved, group work, and using yard tools new to many.
