Good times at freshmen retreat

Anna Parel and Hadley Neal, two video journalists for The Gazebo, had some fun with their GoPro cameras on the recent ninth-grade retreat at the Hephzibah Children’s Home.

The 78 students in the freshmen class, along with their advisors and mentors, participated in archery, tire swings, climbing walls and other challenges. One of the most popular exercises was a rope course, which consisted of a moving balance beam. There also was a scavenger hunt.

The Gazebo staff has a GoPro camera for use at school events. His name is “Bo,” which is short for “Gazebo.” Look for “Bo” to take you on new adventures every week.
