Stratford’s Girl Talk made history this week in a not-so typical way.
Outside Dr. Bob Veto’s office and behind Jerome Scott’s bench is a new addition –the first Stratford Garden of Positivity.
On Monday, sixth-grade Girl Talk was hosted in the Dorogy Room. The girls were given stones, courtesy of Bailey Toole, and paint pens. Each was instructed to write something meaningful to them, or an encouraging phrase.
At the end of the period, counselor Jaqui Wilson walked over to the site with 35 sixth-grade girls to place the rocks in the garden.
