The girls varsity cross country team won second place at the GHSA region meet at the Hephzibah Children’s Home on Oct. 25.

Stratford had two runners in the top ten. Emory Sutherland took eighth place overall, and Ellie Peterson was 10th place..

The girls varsity team qualified for state meet in Carrollton, on Friday, Nov. 3.

The seven varsity girl runners that will be traveling to Carrollton are Ellie Peterson, Catherine Brown, Emory Sutherland, Maimee Henderson, Josie Lamb, Claudia Pope, and Kendall Simmons. Junior Marta Stevenson will be making the trip as an alternate.
