This year’s winter musical is The Addams Family.
Ms. Sylvia Haynie directed this show at Macon Little Theatre a few years ago. She said she “just waited for the right year to bring it here to Stratford.”
The Addams family is a musical based off a television show that was then made into a movie and then a Broadway show. The Addams family is about a feud between a family and an outsider over a large fortune.
Stratford’s musical will be held February 23-25 at the Henry Tift Fine Arts Auditorium. Auditions are open to all sixth-12th graders.
Ms. Haynie wants many students to play the ancestors. For the ancestor role, Mrs. Haynie lets the student choose when they want to practice based off of their schedule.
