It was a night Coach Mark Farriba will remember for the rest of his life.

The Stratford head football coach and athletic director won his 200th game as a head football coach Friday night with a 20-0 homecoming win against Mount Paran.

He is currently in his 29th season as a head coach. He played at Stratford and attended the University of Georgia on a scholarship.

His head coaching career began in 1985  at First Presbyterian,. He won his first game against Mount de Sales. Through the years, Coach has won six region championships and two state championships.

Considering all the hard-fought games, game-winning drives, and unbelievable moments, Coach Farriba still believes that his most memorable memory of coaching is when he led Stratford to win 35-34 in the 2004 state championship game against FPD.

When asked how it felt to share his 200th win with this senior class he said, “I just feel connected with these guys. Most of them have played for four years and it was definitely special to share this moment with them.”
