Junior Keondre Glover leads the Eagles in all-purpose yards this season

Stratford has started off with a 3-0 record on the season. The Eagles have blown out everyone they have played. The Eagles have only allowed 21 points through the first three games and will play Savannah Country Day in Friday’s homecoming game.

Junior Keondre Glover has gotten off to a hot start. Keondre stands at 6 feet tall and weighs 148 pounds.. Keondre has been at Stratford since he was in the 7th grade. Basketball and track are also sports that Keondre shines in for the Eagles. 

Keondre was recently named the Macon Touchdown Co-Back of the week in Stratford’s game over Mount Paran Christian. 

He has rushed for 278 yards on 26 attempts this season, which is an average of 10.6 yards per carry and 92 yard per game. He has seven rushing touchdowns. Keondre has 500 total yards for the season, with 86 receiving yards and 43 return yards. He has caught two TD passes.

Along with offense, Keondre also starts on defense for the Eagles.

“Keondre is a special player on both sides of the ball and also brings a lot of energy every time we step on the field,’’ defensive coordinator Coach Ross Bridges said. 

The Eagles will play Savannah Country Day at Cantrell Stadium in Friday’s homecoming game. The Hornets are 2-2.
