Middle school science teacher Melissa Smith’s eighth-grade classes demonstrated their paper roller coasters in the lobby of the Science Center Monday morning. The students designed, built, tested and modified the gravity-based paper roller coasters. The project was part of a unit on Newton’s Laws of Motion, potential/kinetic energy and friction.
