As October quickly approaches, homecoming is just around the corner.

The 2016 homecoming game will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21 against Wilkinson County.

The homecoming court was announced earlier this week. The seniors are Carly Wanna, Maggie Greer, Lily Howe, Coleman Rozier, Riley Grossnickle, Aysha Roberts, Grace Adams and Allie Edwards.

Tori Dover will represent the junior class, Hadley Neal is the sophomore representative and Jenny Belle Butler will represent the freshmen.

A homecoming dance will replace last year’s Turkey Ball. The dance will follow the homecoming game in the cafeteria on Saturday, Oct. 22.. The theme is “Through the Ages.” The band “The Throwback Experience’’ will be performing.

The boys homecoming court will be announced soon. The student body will vote on a king, who will be announced on Monday, Oct. 17 at the Powder Puff game.
