AARON ARNOLD: Homecoming king, country music and Roll Tide
Aaron Arnold is a senior at Stratford Academy
Last fall, he was named Stratford’s homecoming king. He said it was a proud and humbling experience and had been a dream of his for a long time.
His favorite sport at Stratford is baseball. He loves to fish and hunt in his spare time. He is a big country music fan. Among his favorite artists are Randy Travis and Alan Jackson.
Aaron said if he could trade places with anyone at school for a day it would be Coach Rodney Collins because he is always upbeat and ready to have a good time and makes the best out of everything.
His favorite teacher was Mr. Matt Stewart, a history teacher who left after last year, because he taught him a lot and played the guitar.
Aaron has applied to a dozen colleges, including Clemson, Alabama, Ole Miss, Middlebury, University of Richmond, University of Virginia, Boston College and several other schools.
He has been accepted at Alabama and Ole Miss, but his No. 1 choice is Middlebury College in Vermont He has always been a big Alabama fan because his father loved the legendary Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant.
He said he would love to marry Ana de Armas, the actress from the movie “War Dogs.”
