My love for traveling began back in 2016 when I went on my first cruise with my dad and my brother. Before then, I had been on a few out-of-state trips. I had been to Las Vegas, Washington D.C., and New York.  But when I went on my first cruise I realized my dream is to travel the world one day.

The cruise was a four-day Bahamian Disney cruise. It was so much fun meeting new friends on the ship and seeing new places. The cruise went to Nassau and Castaway Cay which is Disney’s private island. 

In 2017, my mom, stepdad, grandfather, brother, and I went to San Francisco and Yosemite. I love big cities, so I really liked San Francisco. I also enjoyed seeing Yosemite and taking pictures. 

I like to document each of my trips by taking photographs with my Canon Rebel T6i digital camera. I like how I can look back at my trips and have good quality pictures.

That same year, my dad, brother, and I went on another Disney cruise to the Bahamas. Again, I had so much fun meeting new friends and traveling. I really love cruises because you get to “live” on a ship, meet new friends, and travel at the same time.

Last year, we went to Los Angeles. I absolutely LOVED it. I loved it so much I want to work there when I get older. I loved staying in the Hollywood Hills, experiencing LA life, and walking around famous streets. We also went to the Pacific Coast Highway one day while we were in LA. We visited the Santa Monica Pier, Malibu, and drove along the coast.

In the summer of 2018, I went on my first major trip out of the country. My dad, brother, and I traveled to Italy with Adventures by Disney which is Disney’s tour group. Adventures by Disney is great to travel with because they organize your whole trip with the right amount of free time and planned activities. You are with a group of other families and two tour guides your whole trip, so you grow really close to everyone. This was an amazing trip. We went to Rome, Florence, Tuscany, and Venice. I loved seeing another country and how different it is. All of the places were beautiful especially Venice. We got to ride on a gondola on the canals and it was an amazing experience.

In April of this year, I went to Los Angeles for my sixteenth birthday with my mom, aunt, and cousin. My mom surprised me with this trip and I loved it. She knew I loved traveling so much that I would rather go somewhere than get a physical birthday present. She chose LA because she knew how much I loved it when we went the year before. We did some of the same things in LA and saw some new things. We drove down the coast again and went to a new beach named Manhattan Beach. I loved it there. We walked down the main streets and shopped by the beach. My cousin and I already want to go back for her sixteenth birthday which is in 2021.

This past summer, my dad, brother and I went on a seven-night Disney cruise to the Carribean. I met so many new friends and got to travel to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Falmouth. 

Also, this past summer, my dad, brother, and I traveled to England and France with Adventures by Disney. I loved seeing these two new countries. I loved visiting the Eiffel Tower, Windsor Castle, and Buckingham Palace. On this trip, I made a new friend in the tour group. She is my age and lives in Illinois. 

I want to travel so many more places in my life and add to my list of countries and states. As of now, I have traveled to 14 states and six countries. I hope this list grows as I get older. 

If I could, I would travel the world after I graduate college, but I know I will not have enough money to do that. Instead, I want to be a traveling nurse, so I can travel around the country and see new places while working as my dream job.
