Batman v Superman: Room for all those superheroes?

With the release of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” on Friday, I cannot help but feel a mixed bag of emotions.

I am excited to see some of my favorite heroes from DC Comics to return to the big screen. I’m also excited to see how Zack Snyder will use this film as a lodestone to start his coherent DC cinematic universe and if it will be enough to rival that of Marvel’s.

But with all of this excitement and hype comes the feeling of concern. I think my main cause of concern is that the movie might be overcrowded.

They have already confirmed that Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman will be in it. And, while this is really awesome to see, I’m worried they haven’t given enough time to developing all of these beloved heroes and the movie will end up being crowded and rushed — like Sony’s “The Amazing Spiderman 2.”

I am very excited to see the relationship between Batman and Superman and if it will at all mirror the critically-acclaimed graphic novel, “The Dark Knight Returns.”

Overall, I am excited to see “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and how it will fair with other superhero movies.
